24x18" - Vine Charcoal
Howdy everyone!
I know that I market myself as a vector artist/animator, but that doesn't mean I still don't have the foundational skills in place to create some fancy fine art. ^^ This piece was created during my stay at the Savannah College of Art & Design for my Life Drawing class back in 2009. This was the first time I ever had the opportunity to work with vine charcoal (and I only had 30 minutes to draw it before I had to stop).

Looks like you had the image of what you wanted to do fairly well placed in your mind since it turned out nice being that it was your first time with vine charcoal, no where near as many smudges as I would've probable made.
