Here's some concept artwork straight from my sketchbook that features some of the drawings I had to do while figuring out the layout to Panel 12 of my online storybook "The Ballad of Mecha Pinkie Pie". Pretty shocking how little concept art it took me to get this picture right - considering how large and detailed the final product is. I've had this particular composition in my mind for so long that I really didn't need to draw that much before diving right into it.
