Howdy everyone!

I just updated my demo reel in anticipation for applying to the Savannah College of Art & Design as a professor of animation. Feel free to check it out above!

I'm currently the Art Director at Skynamic Studios, a virtual animation studio I founded in 2013 alongside my two business partners, Allison Sribnick and Rachel McWhirter. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Animation on May 29th, 2014.

Currently, I'm working on my studio's first IP – an animated series called “True Tail” – and will be pitching it to major networks throughout the next few months.

Aside from my work at Skynamic Studios, I'm also known online as “FlamingoRich”, a pseudonym I used while directing a 30-minute animation that used the characters from the shows “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”, and "The Powerpuff Girls" called "Double Rainboom". Designed from the ground up as a learning experience, I used this project for college in order to gain experience in running an animated production, which helped lay the groundwork for Skynamic Studios.

I've got a question in regards to your double rainboom tutorials. When it came to animating, you actually animate scenes as separate files? You don't animate several scenes in one file? I'm asking because I noticed that you go into the actual puppet's master symbol, and animate, movie, stretch, and distort the other nested symbols, while it's on a timeline of its own. Don't know if I'm making sense, but is that how you animate? Each separate scene?

Hi, I just kind of stumbled across your page, and I saw your demo reel video on your journal about updating it to apply as a professor of animation at a college and I like your animations.

Since you're good at animating I was wondering if I could bother you for your opinion on Anime Studio Debut 10?
I was looking around for something decent and saw it on sale on Amazon for less than $15 so I went ahead and snagged a copy.
I'm currently mucking about with it, but I don't really have any experience animating and don't know if this software is even a good choice.

Thanks in advance if you decide to offer your advice.

Hey Zach, how's that "True Tail" project of yours coming along? You haven't updated the Tumblr on that in ages.
